Welcome To SafePrem, Welcome To a SAFER Journey

Thrilled that today marks the launch of SafePrem Solutions and if you're reading this you've hopefully taken a look at what we do elsewhere on this site, but to summarise, we are the 'go-to' people for all your Covid secure assets in order to ensure your premises are safe and secure from viruses and bacteria.

And it seems that we have launched at the right time. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), we are approaching 30 million confirmed cases worldwide and of that, nearly 1 million people have died from the Covid-19 coronavirus. Additionally, around the world, 216 countries have reported cases.

In the UK, we appear dangerously close to a second wave as we head into the winter cold and flu season. And of course, for all of us who catch a cold this winter, the assumption will be that we have the virus and will want to get tested immediately. But there's the problem, lab capability to undertake the tests is being stretched beyond capacity. Overlay on top of that, the fact that the virus is now being spread rapidly by the younger generations and the outlook is not entirely positive.

In other words, far from being out of this, we are entering the most serious stages of the pandemic. Local lockdowns could conceivably be replaced by another national lockdown here in the UK and already curfews on pubs are being discussed as a means to try to halt the rapidly escalating spread of the disease.

Changing Behaviour

Working from home, using hand sanitiser before entering a shop and wearing masks have all become common-place and, whilst not feeling natural, the wearing of masks has become an accepted protocol. Our attitudes and behaviour towards hygiene and cleanliness have been shaped differently, perhaps for ever.

It's said that there are now two types of people, those who wear a mask when they're in the car on their own and those who don't. Whether that's true or not, one thing is for sure, many people are anxious and fearful of becoming infected with the virus.

And just as 9/11 changed the way we travel by air forever, so too is the Covid-19 coronavirus likely to change our lives in equally fundamental ways.

News this week from the Oxford trials on a vaccine that one of those involved had fallen ill has no doubt put back development of a vaccine and even if one is developed (there's no guarantee that one will be) there is a percentage of the population who have already declared for various reasons, that they wouldn't get vaccinated.

So one way or another, just like Tuberculosis and other contagious diseases, we are likely to have to learn to live with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and that being the case, we will need to take a different approach to the cleanliness of premises.

We created SafePrem Solutions for this very reason, to support all businesses, healthcare, schools, public institutions, theatres, transport and so forth to be able to return to some kind of normality by ensuring they are able to make their premises as clean and safe as possible.

Clearly, we cannot completely mitigate risk, but in the case of viruses and bacteria, it can virtually be eliminated.

Whatever your business, there are sure to be additional steps which can be taken to achieve this and for this reason we have partnered with best of breed solution providers from around the world.

We are constantly reviewing potential new partners in order to extend our portfolio and eco-system so as to bring our customers the best and most appropriate, value for money solution available.

If this is you, then please do get in touch, we'd love to hear from you.
